Our plan for a leisurely walk was canceled again last night because of the sudden heavy rain. I decided to just do my usual exercise, which is riding a stationary bicycle. However, after breakfast, my parents talked about going to the nearby local market to get some vegetables and other stuff for lunch.
Upon hearing this, I asked my father if I could go with him. I don't have any scheduled morning classes anyway because it's a Wednesday, and I needed that walk. hahah He agreed and we headed out as soon as I finished doing the dishes. :)
As we headed out to the main road, I made my father pose in front of the puddle. I wanted to capture his reflection. It was fun and I appreciate how he easily agreed to it. :)
Look at how pink the new apartment building is. My father jokingly said "Maybe it's Hello Kitty's apartment!". Who knows, right?
We met Kuya Niño on the road halfway to the local market with his big smile. haha He's delivering some water. :)
There are mostly meat shops on this side. If we turn left, it'll lead us to the fish or seafood market. Going straight would lead us to some fruit stand... and since we were getting some vegetables, we had to cross the street. My father usually buys vegetables at a particular store.
There are also some fruits, eggs and frozen food sold on this side.
Here's a different perspective of the market from the opposite side. :) There are a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables readily available... and they're just 10 minutes away on foot.
We couldn't get canola oil in the local market, so we had to go to a pharmacy slash convenience store to purchase one. We just had to walk for around 2-3 minutes from the market.
After getting everything we needed, we walked home. It feels good to go for a walk. I needed that. Hopefully next time, we could go for a leisurely walk again if the weather allows. :)
A kid from our neighborhood was peeping through our fence because he wanted to play with Max. hahaha Just look at that funny face! His name is JJ. He's such a playful (and sometimes really noisy) boy. lol

Back in my father's hometown, there was a purple one, a yellow one, and a chocolate brown one. They looked like ice cream! xDD
