Thank ya! The place where I grew up had a graveyard on the property so playing around in one doesn't seem weird to me in the least. Lol, as kids we had a paintball fight in the cemetery, that got the adults rather agitated...
I wish I could take credit for the effect but it's more happy accident than anything. I pretty sure it has something to do with aperture but I was shooting on auto, just happened to notice it as I was moving the camera around.
Ah ha! So you're well accustomed to playing around in a graveyard. Paintball fight, lol, I'm imaging the tombstones.
Very interesting effect accident or not. Hahaha, auto click a click and whatever you get, yeah. Fun stuff.
If chickenpox came in orange and affected tombstones it might look something like that graveyard did afterwards. Yeah, quite accustomed. I really want to go back to Arlington and take photos there, that's one hell of a cemetery.
I used to shoot strictly on manual but now only use it when I'm being fussy about a shot. From what google tells me the effect is due to the aperture, gonna have to go out and test that tomorrow.
Orange chickenpox tombstones, great visual, lol! I'd love to see photos from the one in Arlington, if you get the chance. It must be an old one, is it?
I'm about the same with manual vs. auto, with one addition, shooting at night hold the shutter open.
I think you're right, it's an effect due to the aperture. I'll be interested to see what you shoot next with that lens.
