Nope, not much of a skater or skier or any other such sports since my back got torqued by an errant forklift in '07.

An errant forklift?? That's a story I'm not sure I wanna hear...

Here you go. I should probably fix those broken image links.

Hey! So I'm gonna check out the ice ribbon in your hood this weekend because it looks like it just opened up. Where should I camp, any suggestions? (Free or cheap is best, as is nowhere-near-discharging-firearms...) I've seen you post in outdoor life so I know you have at least seen the outdoors. Maybe we can coffee it up if that works out, too.

Winter camping is less popular. State parks, hipcamp, or Airbnb might be good starting points.

What about Fishtrap? Ever been there?

Aside from passing through on the interstate, nope.

Oh man. It's ok, I have a vivid imagination. Plus a lot fo what I do is treat MVAs and work comp, so I can totally validate the damage down to your body. I've, you know, felt that kind of damage with my own hands.

Work comp blows. They understaff their reps so shit never gets done. I didn't know any better so I let mine go because I could never get through to anybody. That's the kind of situation where all those work comp/mva attorney ads you see are actually useful. Wish I'd known at the time.
