monomad damselfly with drops

My entry for the #monomad challenge created by @brumest and hosted at @monochromes.

damselfly insect Odonata, suborder Zygoptera

It was early morning sunrise, i went to the park with my gear, setup for macro shooting. I found these damselfly. Related to dragonflies but smaller with elongated bodies. It's eyes are position like a "hammerhead".

Damselflies likes freshwater ponds and streams, where they can lay their eggs. Both the larvae (nymphs) and adults are predatory, feeding small insects. Graceful flyers.

just like all insects it plays an important role in ecosystems .
