Congratulations on your successful sourdough loaf. It's a process, but definitely worth it when it turns out how you like. I've heard it takes about 100 loaves to become consistently "good" at baking sourdough.
Best of luck in your upcoming endeavors! 💖
99 more to go then 😂
Honestly I've enjoyed more building starter than bread itself, and definitely it was worth of all the waiting.
Thank you very much 🤗
Haha! The starter is pretty fascinating. Did you name yours yet? From what I understand, it can live indefinitely, as long as conditions are right. You can pass it down to your grandchildren 😆
Certainly haven't named it yet 😂 let's see how long will it be alive.
'building' week is kind of tough, until the colony strengthens after it fridge storing, feeding once a week.
Probably my grandchildren will eat some virtual kind od bread :D
🤣🤣🤣 virtual bread, that's a good one.
You'll get the hang of it! It's the start of a beautiful relationship.
P.S. our starter is named Harold. He also gets fed once a week and lives in the fridge 😊
Hi Harold!
Today another experiment will be made, in case of succeed - I'll name it.:D
Had you try drying it on parchment paper and storing? I'm curios about that part.
Naming is fun 😊.
No! I haven't done that. But now I want to give it a try with a bit of Harold. Thanks for the hint!
Share whatever recipe you have for sourdough sweet/savory I take everything! 😂
Most welcome!
