I see there is not really a red line in this street photography series (doesn't have to, but I always try to find one 😀).
I also like the tree growing out the sidewalk. Well spotted! I didn't see directly it was a sidewalk until I read the description. Maybe you would have seen more of the environment when you had taken the shot from another angle.
I think it turned out the best of all the ones I shot that day. A while back I posted a few motorcycle shots and got lots of responses about the fact that they weren't wearing helmets, which hadn't really even registered with me at the time. Ever since I've been trying to snap photos of any motorcyclists I see while out shooting as a sort of documentary survey of helmet wearing. This guy was firmly in the "hope I die before I get old" camp.
Red line? I'm not for sure what you mean.
Ah, yeah, I was trying to isolate it and with how that lens compresses things it was always going to be hard to tell. Other circumstances restricted the angles I could shoot it from, sadly.
I think it's dumb not to wear a helmet, but it's their choixe. And its better for your photo 👍
