I used a Canon 70-200 4 L lens.
There were a few days that it got real this time. This is somewhere in the suburban area, a few old garage structures can be seen lining the dirt road that goes around the feet of the hill.
If it looks like a mountain slope, that is because of the man-planted pine trees. They are not local flora. They do not grow well around here. The altitude is too low. But they are relatively fast-growing for trees and perhaps that was the main reason somebody chose them at some point.
They still do make a nice sight. While their generation lasts, at least.
I treasure the rare moments and I generally look for things that are temporary. Even more than usually so, I mean. The things that I can recognize as passing. Although, sometimes I do pick things that are here to stay for another couple of decades or so... Everything goes. Some images shall remain... for a while longer.
In this case... I wonder if the pine trees will be the first to go or the old garage compartments. Time shall tell. It will bear little significance for those who come next, I guess. But it is food for thought. I mean the remains of times past.
I don't imagine there are a lot of new cars in there, do you?
Peace and Harmony!
Yours,
Manol
