The love of my life was always my grandmother, and today I want to introduce you to a woman who was a dear friend of hers. As her neighbor, she would often come down to visit and share lovely moments with her.
El amor de mi vida siempre fue mi abuela, y la señora que les voy a presentar el día de hoy fue una gran amiga de ella. Siendo su vecina, constantemente bajaba a visitarla y a compartir gratos momentos con ella.
Her name is Cosmelina. She still lives in the same apartment, although we don’t see her as often because her health has declined. At 83 years old and having suffered a heart attack last year, she no longer visits us as frequently. However, we always make an effort to visit her.
Su nombre es Cosmelina. Aún vive en su mismo apartamento, aunque ya no se le ve tan seguido, ya que ha estado un poco mal de salud. Sigue siendo una gran amiga de la familia, pero debido a sus 83 años y un infarto sufrido el año pasado, ya no nos visita con tanta frecuencia. Sin embargo, nosotros siempre la visitamos.
She’s not a fan of photos and would often cover her face when she saw me with my camera, but I managed to capture a few pictures of her to keep her presence alive in my memories.
No es una mujer de fotos, ya que siempre se tapaba la cara cuando me veía con intenciones de retratarla. Pero pude hacerle algunas fotos para tenerla siempre presente.
