This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Title: The great tit
One of the most numerous songbirds during the winter is the great tit.
I regularly find them in small groups searching various trees for food.
Lack of seeds and insects, due to winter and snow, make it very difficult for these birds.
Cold weather doesn't bother them, they just lack food.
Or it's much harder to find it.
A handful of various seeds or bread crumbs is enough to feed a whole group of birds. If you have the opportunity and time, throw it on the ground or in the feeder. It will mean a lot to them.
Thank you for stopping by and supporting my content!
It can be really hard for birds to find food in the winter. I have two birdfeeders around my house that we keep full. It attracts both birds and squirrels!
Water can also be a problem too especially when everything is frozen. Thank you for your comment.
I always worry about the little birds I see in winter, hoping they can find food and get through it.
That's great! Keep doing that :)
