Thanks! It's an old building, for sure - this whole area of town was built in the late 19th century, with most buildings still standing. I should dig into the history of the building for another post - it's pretty cool inside. There were all these old alarms, wires, buzzers buried in the walls everywhere during Prohibition to give people a head's up on police. Beneath the sidewalks were all these caves/basements, and I guess people used to use them to scoot from drinking place to drinking place to get their booze. It was like one large underground drinking circuit. So much history potentially gone...sad!
You know we would both have been down there if we were in those times haha
