I had to verify the answer, how funny is that? Yes, apparently winter became official Dec 21. Where I'm from (currently on the other side of the country) there is no "winter season" so I'm unaware it's official start date. But I can tell you it's cold! Says it's 32 F out there right now.
I graduated from the University a couple of years ago. I studied library and information Science. It is required in my country that every graduate complete a compulsory one year national service. (NYSC).
I was posted to serve in a Seminary, this one.
Damn that's a big move, I will say be 500 percent certain it's what YOU want. Not the seminary, not family or friends.
I know a few Priests very well, one said something that stuck with me years ago.
I joined the church to find god, but it took 40 years of service to learn I didn't need to search.
He had retired from active duty, but he did the christening service for my son.
So I guess to sum it up. You have talent and skills you can grow.
I would ask yourself some big questions before making that leap. I ain't here to say it's a good choice or a bad one. Just make sure you get it right.
