Hey Jesus, thanks for sharing the images and inspiration. I am going to have this type of walk with a photo camera soon today so I l need to feel these vibes to get the right mood.
Nikon D3100 was my first DSLR. Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX (I don't know if you shot these series with this lens or other) was my first prime lens. Great for city exploration.
Images remind me tropical Asia (I have never been to Americas). And the last two shots make me think about exactly Goa, an Indian state that was under Portuguese control for almost five centuries so there is a significant trace of Portuguese cultural influence. They have these sort of 1-floor white houses, I rented a room for 2 months in one of them several years ago.
Dear friend @x-rain , I am deeply glad that these images have inspired and pleased you for your next adventures in street photography... Yes, they are made with the 35mm... Personally I use longer focal lengths for street photography, but this time I wanted to go for the most discreet possible...
I have been previously told that some of the images of this village have similarities with certain semi-rural villages in Asia... This is a village that has been quite affected by various social and economic problems, so the streets give off an air of struggle between "survival and decay" that makes them very eloquent... Ideal for this kind of photos I think...
Thank you very much for the comment and the appreciation... I hope to look at your work soon my friend!!!.... Cheers!!!
I like my telephoto lens as well. All lenses are nice, like all cats are 😃
Thank you! 😎
