It took a bit longer, but I’m glad to have finally completed this piece. This is my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest, Week 316. I wasn’t able to participate last week, so I’m thrilled to have an entry for this round!
My subject for this piece is RUNESEER SEVAYA!
Reference
Runeseer Sevaya is a 4-mana Dragon card that gives team armor but needs weapon training monsters to attack. It works best with Life Splinter magic monsters for direct health damage. While versatile, it's most effective in high mana battles due to weapon training monsters' costs.
I find this character's design unique, especially due to the attire and the color combinations of each element. The accessories look badass as well, giving the impression of a powerful witch. These are the reasons I was inspired to recreate this character in my own style.
Normally, I position the character at a slightly rotated angle to avoid a fully symmetrical view. Creating balanced symmetry in facial features manually can be challenging. However, I found a tool in Procreate that lets me draw one side of the character while the app mirrors the other. This works well for drawing a character from a front view. It’s my first time trying this feature, and I must say, I like it a lot!

Very nice. I like how glow was used nicely to glow up and bring life to some of the items holding by the Sevaya. Maybe just one possible tweak, Sevaya maybe can slender a little, looks a little hunky right now.
