Some Fine Market Pictures to Blow Your Mind

Market scenes are the best because of the stunning photos that can be taken amidst the chaos. For the record, these pictures were taken in Abule Egba, Lagos, Nigeria.

It is a local market where primarily people from Lagos' suburbs shop. There are many different items here, but I am in the area where you can get first, second, and third grade clothes, shoes, bags, and other items.

This place is beautiful because it is full of beautiful people. Beautiful people with both dark and light skin. I also enjoy coming here because there's something a picture of something different that you can take. In the past, you could buy clothes for as little as 50 cents.

This market is notorious for this.

Most of the time, I doubted it was possible, but people who could not afford first-rate clothing were heavily reliant on markets like this to supply their needs. However, things are no longer the same.

Even third-grade clothing is now very expensive here, and the population in the pictures tells you something: people want cheap, good-quality items. There are so many people in this market that you could literally lose your child in the chaos.

There is not much room for people to move around, but you can see how crowded everyone is while shopping for the next valuable item they can get for almost nothing.

The display of goods here is stunning.

The shop owners must maximize the space they have, so they must make some reasonable arrangements to ensure that their goods occupy an allotted space.

If you look at how the trousers and jeans are arranged on the roof, or how the old boots, shoes, and sneakers are arranged, you can tell that these sellers want to make the best use of their space when displaying their goods.

My favorite arrangement and placement are the jeans and the old shoes; although I did not purchase any of these items, it was fantastic to tour the market with my companion, who wanted to shop for a specific item, and I took the time to look around.

Women's clothing is most prevalent here.

According to my observations, this market is 60% female, so it most likely caters to women's needs rather than men's. You can see photos of the heels.

Women's shoes, as well as a cluster of stylish handbags and other accessories.

Apparently, I wanted to get closer shots of these items, but I do not think the owners would let us get close enough to take an intentional shot from different angles.

I ended up buying a few things myself, but mostly I took pictures of things I did not plan on looking at because I thought they were beautiful and needed to show you all.

I took some really great portrait photos using my iPhone 12's portrait mode

Here's a perfect example.

I know that this particular portrait shot is chaotic, I mean the subject separation was poor, and there was no particular subject in view, except for the lady holding a bag to her head, but if you look at the color combinations of her clothes, her beautiful skin, and the quality of the sunlight falling on her, it makes this picture my favorite of everything.

The bokeh effect on the picture is adorable, and the hustle theme behind it is fantastic. Choas can be beautiful

These are some of the other favourites.

I got close enough to the fabric. I believe these are cotton men's underwear, and the photos are lit. Although I could be wrong, perhaps you could tell me if they are good.

The iPhone's subject separation was excellent in this case, and even after some in-device editing, it turned out very well.

It was fun to come here. The temperature was above 30 degrees, the sun was shining, and I knew it would be ideal lighting conditions for some good shots.

Today, I am sharing some of the best shots I have taken with my iPhone 12, and I can not believe that after three years, this phone still takes stunning photos.

I updated iOS, and the phone is as good as new. Thanks; which are your favorites?

That is a busy place! Too bad the third tier clothing is now expensive. How are the poorer people supposed to survive? Best be careful with your kids in a place like that, very crowded.

The phone took some great pictures, great job!

The first grades clothes are basically unaffordable, unless you actually have a decent chunk of money or some disposable income. The people who deal in the second and third tier already see that the demand for their product is high, hence, they hike the product price

If they can rip you off, they will... Welcome to world...

Sometimes it feels like some of these guys who rips people off are the biggest scammers in the world. Image hiking the price of things that's supposed to be cheap. It means the less privilege might just go naked without clothes.

Wow. These are stunning pictures and it's hard choosing any. But I love the one the seller has pawpaw on her head. Also, the clothes arrangement are beautifully done.

You know, when I take pictures, I enjoy using the portrait mode than the other way round. These are so amazing. 🔥
Market is so busy.

I like the pawpaw pictures too, I wish it turned out better. However we know that in Nigeria photography is frowned on, especially when you're taking shots of people, they don't want it and then when you take permission, only a few will agree.

I prefer the portrait modes too. They're in focus and colorful. Thanks

The photos are great on the phone even after so long. It's quite an interesting market but it does make sense for them to focus on female clothes. They are more willing to buy things if it catches their eye.

You're right. Women are more willing to buy stuff when it catches their attention, plus where are more women than men, so most shops will attend to women's needs as it's profitable.
