LOL, I had to look up what comino was. I had no clue, it's just cumin. LOL, I learned something.
We don't use the pickled or jalapenos in a jar, we use fresh jalapenos. That's what my family prefers. Yes, it's more work, but I guess I need to make my husband happy!
Sometimes I cheat (ok, am lazy) and use a jar of salsa instead of chopping peppers, onion, tomato, etc.
We occasionally like to add chopped fresh jalapeños to pozole along with cilantro, onion, and lime.
