I am truly lucky and blessed enough to have easy access to white sand and pristine beaches. I have mentioned several times on my previous posts about my hometown (North of Cebu). I have also featured some of the places that I've visited and I will never get tired of, including this place, which I consider as my safe haven - Meehan's Rest House.
Over the weekend, I decided to have a short vacation to visit my hometown because it was also the celebration of our Saint. My friends and I decided to go to the beach for a day just to relax and unwind. Thankfully, the weather was working with us and the ocean was calm. We also contacted our good friend to bring his drone and gopro to take shots of us enjoying the sea (which I will share to all of you once the editing is finished).
So if you ever see me posting a lot of beach photos this year, that is because I decided to live my life the way I wanted to. I don't want to stress myself out with work. I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor, therefore, whenever my friends ask me to hangout and chill over the weekend by the beach, my answer would always be, "Yes, I will join you."
But don't forget to be a responsible traveler. Don't leave your job unfinished and pass the burden to your teammates. Make sure you are free to do anything without work coming for your ass during vacation. We don't want phone calls during our leisure. 😉

haha this is so true! I met a lot of people who left their job unfinished and keep getting calls. You're so lucky to live nearby an amazing pristine beach!
I hate it when someone calls me from work when I'm on vacation, that is why I try my best to finish my tasks ahead of time.
