Hello everyone! It's been an interesting couple of weeks; I'm glad to see that most of the newbies are pretty active and posting almost daily. Also happy to see the engagement that's taking part between the newbies.
Time for a new task! As you read in the title, this task is all about @threespeak / https://3speak.tv/. Please read the whole post before watching the video. If you are ready... Let's begin!

¡Hola a todos! Han sido un par de semanas interesantes; me alegra ver que la mayoría de los novatos son bastante activos y publican casi a diario. También me alegra ver el compromiso que está habiendo entre los novatos.

About 3Speak
In the HIVE blockchain, it is easy to host texts, but hosting videos is another challenge. That's one of the reasons @theycallmedan and @starkerz decided to create https://3speak.tv/.
What is 3Speak? A platform that is part of the SPK Network and offers censorship-resistant hosting for videos.
Anyone worldwide can upload videos to 3Speak as long as they follow some simple guidelines: upload original content (or content that you have permission to upload) and avoid calling for violence or threats to other people.
When you upload a video to 3Speak, it is published on Hive. You can watch them through many of its frontends like https://hive.blog/, https://peakd.com/, https://ecency.com/, and more.
Of course, https://3speak.tv/ is also a frontend for Hive, and you can comments, vote, and watch videos from your favorite Hivers.

En la blockchain de HIVE es fácil alojar textos, pero alojar vídeos es otro reto. Esa es una de las razones por las que @theycallmedan y @starkerz decidieron crear https://3speak.tv/.
¿Qué es 3Speak? Una plataforma que forma parte de la red SPK y ofrece alojamiento de videos y es resistente a la censura.
Cualquier persona del mundo puede subir videos a 3Speak siempre que siga unas sencillas normas: subir contenido original (o contenido que tenga permiso para subir) y evitar llamar a la violencia o amenazar a otras personas.
Cuando subes un video a 3Speak, se publica en Hive. Puedes verlos a través de muchos de sus frontends como https://hive.blog/, https://peakd.com/, https://ecency.com/, y más.
Por supuesto, https://3speak.tv/ también es un frontend de Hive, y puedes comentar, votar y ver los vídeos de tus Hivers favoritos.
The 3Speak Task
You may have guessed it... Yes, for this task, you will be creating a 3Speak video. I know you are eager to watch the video on this post, but I want to share some details about the task.
In the video, you will have a full tutorial on how to create a 3Speak account and connecting your existing Hive account to 3Speak. As I say in the video, this process might be a little complex initially but trust me, it's worth it.
The task is to create a video discussing the following:
- Which is your favorite Hobby or activity?
- How do you plan to monetize it (hobby or activity) with your HIVE Blog?
- Have you found content creators in HIVE that are in your same niche? Please mention them.
More details:
Are you too shy to show your face in your video? Don't worry that is not a requirement. Instead, you can create a slide presentation and talk over the images.
You can use ZOOM or OBS on the PC to share your screen and record your video. If you only have a cellphone, you can use an app called XRecorder to capture and record your screen.

La tarea de 3Speak
Puede que lo hayas adivinado... Sí, para esta tarea, vas a crear un vídeo de 3Speak. Sé que estás deseando ver el vídeo en este post, pero quiero compartir algunos detalles sobre la tarea.
En el vídeo, tendrás un tutorial completo sobre la creación de una cuenta de 3Speak y la conexión de tu cuenta existente de Hive a 3Speak. Como digo en el vídeo, este proceso puede ser un poco complejo al principio, pero créeme, vale la pena.
La tarea consiste en crear un vídeo en el que se hable de lo siguiente
- ¿Cuál es tu hobby o actividad favorita?
- ¿Cómo piensas monetizarlo (hobby o actividad) con tu Blog de HIVE?
- ¿Has encontrado creadores de contenido en HIVE que estén en tu mismo nicho? Por favor, menciónalos.
Más detalles:
¿Eres demasiado tímido para mostrar tu cara en el video? No te preocupes, eso no es un requisito. En su lugar, puedes crear una presentación de diapositivas y hablar sobre las imágenes.
Puedes utilizar ZOOM u OBS en el PC para compartir tu pantalla y grabar tu video. Si sólo tienes un teléfono móvil, puedes utilizar una aplicación llamada XRecorder para capturar y grabar tu pantalla.

Oh and I almost forgot! The tutorial is in English and Spanish, I'm too lazy to add subtitles so I did both versions in the same video.

- Posts made by participating newbies are advised to be shared in the SMILE DISCORD SERVER in #newbies-initiative-posts under the "ALIENTO" category newbies can engage with each other by commenting on shared posts. We will be on the lookout for healthy comments and supporting them through upvotes or tips via the @peakd tipping system.

The deadline is one week, but if it's too little time, maybe up to 10 days.

Why do we need a separate account?
Steem/Hive dApps, apps, websites are usually not require to have a separate account. How does this work?
This has to do with how 3Speak works. The plan in the future is that users can upload videos to 3Speak and decide if they can't post them to Hive. That way, people can have light accounts where they test the site, and later, they can sign up for a Hive account and choose to invest here.
Also, one 3Speak account can be connected to several Hive accounts.

Saludos, subi mi primer video hace poco pero se subio mal, solo se ve el final del video y el resto esta en negro, que puedo hacer? hay alguna forma de resubir el video o borar la publicacion por ese error?
