Finally, this Sunday I reached 8K. This is the first time I have reached this number. Since the beginning of running, I have been determined to reach 8K. This is also a celebration that I have done several things. Starting from sending scholarships, forgiving my friends and others.
There is a satisfaction in itself that I can run beyond the limits of the distance that I usually run. This time, I was in Bandung. In the Babakan Ciamis area. The route is quite far, starting from Babakan Ciamis, the Cicendo Special School, the West Java Governor's Official Residence, then the Bandung city government, circling the park until ending back in the Babakan Ciamis area.

There is a satisfaction in itself reaching this distance. Finally, I can reach this point. I target the next run at 10K. Let's prepare. I also remember one of the members of the community if we train regularly, either physically or running, we will be able to reach that point. Am I too late?
Running in the city of Bandung looks different. The streets are very quiet from sellers. If I run later in the day, I will see several groups running. Running in Bandung City feels really fun, actually. Many sports facilities are built by the Bandung city government.

In my place of residence, there are two large sports arenas that are the prima donna. Oh yes, this track is the first time I have used it. Initially, I only walked, maybe starting early last year, when I returned home. I grew up in Bandung, but some places and routes are still very foreign to me. So I don't dare to run with a new route.
What about my current running pace? I was also quite surprised by my running pace. At the beginning of my run I was too fast, my pace reached 8:10. It turned out that this made me tired quickly in the next kilometer. I reduced my pace to 9. I also remembered that one of my community moderators was a beginner. For running pace, it is better to be at 9.
I tried to be consistent with a pace of more than 9:30. It turned out that this also made me able to run a distance of more than 5K. Keeping a stable pace is one of the keys to running a distance of more than 5K. This is an important lesson for me as a beginner runner. I feel so happy to have reached this distance. That's all I can tell, see you in the next story.

Congratulations @nnurdiani 🥳🥳🥳 it's a very satisfying progress, 8 km is not underestimated, you did the right thing by slowing down a bit to be able to finish better, and of course if you train more often your body adapts and gives better results.
I can achieve this of course thanks to your post. I learned a lot from you
