Hello Hive community, today I come to talk about what a person goes through when he has to leave his country to be able to work and help his family, the immigrant goes through a very uncomfortable journey where many people have the same destination or different ways when they go by bus there are many who lose their time in accidents or passing illegal roads to pass from one country to another, thinking that when they arrive at their destination everything will be a new life and better than where we were born.

Today I come to tell you the truth, since it is not easy to leave your country and go to another, to be able to travel you have to cross many difficult roads where you have to walk for many hours, go hungry, run the risk that the guerrillas of different countries kidnap you, that they steal the little you carry, but as we are warriors we cross all kinds of roads and borders no matter what, just thinking that you have to get to your destination to be able to help your family.

Thank God from so many bad moments you meet very good people who support you and help you and when you get to your destination all you have thought of doing is to work and live peacefully to send to your family, in the end it is not what you imagined because you work just to pay rent and eat, the little you have left is what you manage to send are miseries. In all this matter I only say to those people who see an immigrant on the street, help him because really these people come to leave their country just for a need and their hardship is their family, I do not say that you give money, but if you support him with food, work that you will really see that person will pay you very well someday.

When I arrived at my destination I first worked as a kitchen assistant for 3 months, then I changed jobs as a barber, after a while I got a job as head of security in a casino, then I changed jobs because the casino declined, then I started working as a driver on a public transport route until I managed to collect my ticket and returned to my country Venezuela. When I arrived I met the love of my life @nathyortiz and thank God we are together as long as he allows us thanks to her I met this wonderful world of social networks called Hive.

I write all this because it was really my lived experience and thanks to those things that I got to go through I learned to love, value, help and most importantly I learned that life gives us many blows that we really learn to dodge and overcome, I thank God always for all the good and bad and thanks to all that we learn to excel in many parts of work as at least I learned to cut hair, be an electrician, plumber, carpenter, mechanic and thanks to that I can do many things and defend myself.

This is my experience, I hope it serves as advice for those who want to leave their country, not everything is lost, there are still good things in Venezuela to get ahead, I am not saying that it will go bad because there are people who overcome quickly and get ahead. The life of an immigrant is quite hard, it is difficult to leave and realize all that we leave behind, that is why every day I try to advise everyone on this subject. Thank you all for reading me and for being here with you, a hug.

Muy interesante tu historia amigo de verdad

Thank you for sharing your experience. It must take a lot of courage to face the challenges of leaving your country, as well as talking about the experience with others. I grew up in San Diego, California, and knew a lot of people who had immigrated from other countries (in this case mostly Mexico). While these people were grateful for the financial opportunities, they faced so much adversity, in addition to feeling homesick and missing families.
