Not sure 2 weeks is enough to detox though.
I haven't been on ritalin for 4 years at this point and I am doing fine. I just stop it without my doctor knew about it and just peacefully left the system xD
But I have also always kept looking at my triggers and how to nulify them before my adhd had the time to do weird stuff.
I believe that the meds can be good for a while until you learn how you work and how you work on the meds compared to off the meds, when you figure that out you should be able to recreate the feeling of being on meds even when you aint :D
I understand. I am trying to create good habits to eventually be able to drop the meds.
Those "vacations" off of meds every few weeks or months are useful to check if I have got the habits.
Well, its easy for someone with adhd to create good habits, its harder to make the stay :p
The two things which have done the most for me and my adhd, is eating a mostly plant-based diet / removing any dairy.
And stop drinking anything with caffeine in, this have done wonders for my sleep even though I was very strict with it before hand
