Hello folks! its getting to that time of the year again, the one we all love...

Christmas has always been the one time of the year everyone far and wide comes together to celebrate, no matter the diversity. My friend @crypto.piotr asked if i could make a post on what I'd like to do this Christmas so, here we go :)

My dream for this Christmas would be to just chill out on a beach, enjoy the scenery and peace one more time, Like an escape from the realities of life alongside my family. I know it's not much compared to the dreams others would have on how they'd like to spend their upcoming Christmas but it's been a while since I had a family vacation thingy. The extravagance doesn't matter much to me.

I'm going to be spending this year's Christmas with my family and loved ones. It'd be so good to see them after so much time. I mean, I only get to meet some of my distant relatives during Christmas and so it's a must I do it with family. No better set of people to spend the season with than family.

How do i think Christmas may be different from previous ones

It's been a heck of a year, that we can all agree on. The outbreak we all took as child's play at its inception spiraled into something somewhat uncontrollable eventually necessitating a global lockdown and a crippled national economy. Christmas would sure be a tad different in the country, although it would be significantly better than the one of last year. The restrictions wouldn't be as strict anymore however the national economy has been in a mess the past few days. There's hyperinflation looming in Nigeria and common goods now command unbelievable higher prices.
It's even so bad the price of fuel is set to increase by nearly 80% of its current price, which makes me wonder where the benefits that accrue to living in a major oil-producing country lie.

Christmas this year may not be as festive for most Nigerians but i never cared about the elegance anyways. Family is more than enough for me

Merrcy Christmas in advance folks
stay safe
