Hola a mis amigos de la comunidad HIVE, el día de hoy quiero mostrarles una de las maravillas de mi ciudad Mérida, Venezuela. Se trata de El Valle, una zona urbana fuera del casco central de la ciudad, aproximadamente a 20 minutos camino al Paramo La Culata. En El Valle disfrutas un ambiente con mucha naturaleza, de clima frío y con vistas espectaculares.
Hello to my HIVE community friends, today I want to show you one of the wonders in my city Merida, Venezuela. It is about El Valle, an urban area that is approximately 20 minutes away from the city, on the way to the Paramo La Culata. In El Valle you can enjoy an environment full of nature, cold weather and spectacular landscapes.
He tenido la oportunidad de ir a El Valle un par de veces de paseo en bicicleta con mis amigos, ha sido un reto ya que son caminos realmente empinados y debes de contar con buena condición física. Si bien en carro llegas en 20 minutos a media hora, en bicicleta son aproximadamente dos horas de camino, suena bastante cierto? Pues dejame decirte que las vistas y el ambiente valen totalmente la pena, te llenas de una sensación de calma inigualable al llegar.
I’ve had the opportunity to go to El Valle a couple of times riding my bike with my friends, it has been a challenge since the roads are really steep, you must be in a good physical condition. The car ride is usually 20 minutes to half an hour long, but if you’re riding your bike it’s approximately two hours long, sounds like a lot right? Let me tell you the environment and the landscapes are completely worth it, you get an incomparable calm feeling when you get there.

En El Valle puedes disfrutar de distintas propuestas gastronómicas de la zona como las fresas con crema y los pasteles andinos. En esta oportunidad, hicimos una parada en un restaurante llamado La Casa del Valle y comimos croissants de chocolate, almojabanas (pan hecho con harina de yuca y queso rallado), y batidos de fresa.
In El Valle you can enjoy different local gastronomic proposals like strawberries and creme and pasteles andinos. On this occasion, we made a stop in a restaurant called La Casa del Valle. We ate chocolate croissants, almojabanas (bread made with yucca flour and grated cheese), and strawberry smoothies.
El ambiente es muy acogedor, todo lo que venden es orgánico y traído de la zona, y sus especialidades son las pizzas a la leña y los panne cook. Aquí les muestro un par de fotos de su Instagram (@ lacasadelvalle) para que puedan apreciar de la comida:

Si alguna vez tienen la oportunidad de venir a Mérida, Venezuela, les recomiendo venir a El Valle donde podrán disfrutar de la esencia de mi hermosa ciudad. Espero seguir mostrándoles todo lo bueno de Mérida y de mi país Venezuela. :)
