This really can solve your Ego problem, but let's remember what Rising Star is, a slow-progress game with a view to the future, so if those StarBits you spent to buy Skill you buy instruments, in the long run those instruments will bring you more skill than that card you wanted to buy.
One thing that can uncontrol your Ego, are the Drunk Fans, but this is not bad at all, the Drunk Fans is a gift that makes you a Rising Star, I say this because I am seeing many people saying that they are bad and that they only they annoy and that is a serious mistake, a fan and a drunk fan do the same thing, give more StarBits, so we have to prepare our skills well to be able to receive them.
I am going to make a note that it could be a mistake, I have seen many people who are starting out saying that you need to have twice the skill of ego and this is not entirely true, maybe in that account yes, but it is not the reference adequate, you have to have a little more fans than the drunk fans that come to you, it's that simple, in my case my record of Drunk Fans was 12,000 fans and it gave me 5% of ego because I know I have to raise a little more my Skill, which I have already done, for this it is important to buy instruments and not skills, so that it generates more skills over time and keep this statistic to the letter
