El día de hoy les voy a explicar cómo hacer un tren de juguete hecho totalmente con materiales reciclados, esta idea la tenía en mente hace mucho tiempo porque quería regalarle a un primo algo original hecho con mis propias manos y más de este motivo porque le encantan los trenes. Usé pocos materiales y el proceso al momento de construirlo fue muy sencillo, práctico y rápido así que espero que les guste el resultado.

Paso a paso - Step by step

Lo primero que hice fue marcar en el cartón un rectángulo de 10 cm de largo por 26 cm de ancho, para después dividir su interior en cuatro partes iguales quedando como 10 cm de largo por 6,5 cm de ancho cada uno. Luego dejé un espacio en alguno de los dos rectángulos interiores para hacer pequeños cuadros de 7 cm de largo por 6,5 cm de ancho y en la última escala hice el cuadrado con las mismas medidas pero en el medio.

The first thing I did was to mark on the cardboard a rectangle of 10 cm long by 26 cm wide, and then divide its interior into four equal parts, leaving about 10 cm long by 6.5 cm wide each. Then I left a space in one of the two inner rectangles to make small squares of 7 cm long by 6.5 cm wide and in the last scale I made the square with the same measures but in the middle.

Mi segundo paso fue cortar la pieza marcada con la ayuda de mi cortador, para después unir todo y pegarlo con silicón. Obteniendo de esta manera la base de mi tren, seguidamente pegué el rollo de papel higiénico con el domo del bombillo dañado en la parte superior de la base del tren y en la parte inferior recorte un rectángulo de cartón de 6,5 cm de ancho que va desde el rectángulo base hasta el cuadrado que sería la cabina del tren.

My second step was to cut the marked piece with the help of my cutter, and then join everything together and glue it with silicone. Then I glued the toilet paper roll with the dome of the damaged light bulb on top of the base of the train and at the bottom I cut a rectangle of cardboard 6.5 cm wide that goes from the base rectangle to the square that would be the cabin of the train.

Una vez que tenemos toda la estructura del tren podemos decorar de acuerdo a nuestra imaginación y gusto. Personalmente decidí mantener lo rustico de los materiales y sólo apliqué pequeños detalles hechos con revistas como sorbetillos. Aunque ustedes pueden intentar con otros materiales como pinturas o calcomanías.

Once we have the whole structure of the train we can decorate according to our imagination and taste. Personally I decided to keep the materials rustic and only applied small details made with magazines such as straws. Although you can try with other materials such as paints or decals.

Como paso final pegamos la tapa de refresco en el medio del bombillo para darle de esta manera un aspecto más definido y listo ya tendremos un tren totalmente hecho con materiales de reciclaje.

As a final step we glue the soda cap in the middle of the bulb to give it a more defined look and we will have a train completely made with recycled materials.
