Hola, ¡los saludo a todos! Hoy les cuento que después de año y medio volví a subir junto con mi hija la montaña. Nos fuimos en la tarde porque el sol aquí en el trópico, en este caso en Venezuela, es muy fuerte.
Hello, greetings to all of you! Today I tell you that after a year and a half I climbed the mountain again with my daughter. We left in the afternoon because the sun here in the tropics, in this case in Venezuela, is very strong.
Mi hija me animó y a las 4:30 de la tarde salimos hacia allá hasta llegar a la cima. Esta vez fui un poco más arriba y conocí los otros picos, mi hija me decía que tenía que verlos, ella los ha subido muchas veces.
My daughter encouraged me, and at 4:30 in the afternoon we set off until we reached the top. This time I went a little higher and got to know the other peaks, my daughter told me that I had to see them, she has climbed them many times.
Descansamos un rato mirando toda la belleza de esta linda montaña, muchos pájaros y bastante viento fuerte, que casi se lleva mi sombrero, sobre todo en la cima.
We rested for a while looking at all the beauty of this beautiful mountain, many birds and quite a strong wind, which almost took my hat, especially at the top.
La vía hasta la primera cima de esta montaña ubicada en La Victoria, está pavimentada, y al llegar hay un monumento histórico, allí hicimos una breve parada para contemplar y tomar fotos. Cuando consigo, recojo algunas hierbas, como el diente de león, por ejemplo.
The road to the first peak of this mountain located in La Victoria, is paved, and upon arrival there is a historical monument, there we made a brief stop to contemplate and take pictures. When I can, I pick some herbs, such as dandelion for example.
La gente que sube aquí más seguido y que les encanta la naturaleza, han sembrado diferentes árboles, algunos frutales.
The people who come up here more often and who love nature have planted different trees, some of them fruit trees.
Yo había sembrado en un matero que tengo en el balcón de la casa unas semillas de lechoza o papaya, creció y se la di a mi hija que el año pasado la trajo para acá cuando hicieron una jornada de reforestación. Ese era otro motivo por el que quería volver a la montaña, para ver la planta 😊, pero había que subir un poco más, en esta zona el sendero es de tierra.
I had planted some papaya seeds in a pot that I have on the balcony of the house, it grew and I gave it to my daughter who brought it here last year when they did a reforestation day. That was another reason I wanted to go back up the mountain, to see the plant 😊, but you had to climb a little higher, in this area the path is dirt.
Aquí con la planta de papaya, su tronco engordó bastante y está más grande, me encantó tocarla y le dije a mi hija que me tomara una foto con mi pequeño arbolito, espero pronto comer su deliciosa fruta.
Here with the papaya plant, its trunk has put on a lot of weight and is bigger, I loved touching it and I told my daughter to take me a picture with my little tree, I hope soon to eat its delicious fruit.
En esta parte del cerro han puesto bancos, es un bonito mirador. Aquí se siente mucha paz, lejos un rato de los ruidos y la contaminación de la ciudad. Seguro que en la noche hace bastante frío, me han dicho también que por aquí hay báquiros, ellos buscan comer raíces de pequeñas plantas, pero no son agresivos.
In this part of the hill they have put benches, it is a nice viewpoint. Here you feel a lot of peace, far away from the noise and pollution of the city. I'm sure it's quite cold at night, I've also been told that there are peccaries around here, they look for roots of small plants to eat, but they are not aggressive.
Con las lluvias aquí crecen verduras salvajes también que yo conozco y que se pueden comer, pero ahorita hace mucho tiempo que no llueve y no han salido, estas son el diente de león y la verdolaga.
With the rains here grow wild vegetables that I know and that can be eaten, but now it has not rained for a long time and they have not come out, these are the dandelion and purslane.
Esta caminata es sin duda una carga de puro oxígeno. Hemos sacado fotos, la pasamos muy bien y la próxima vez subiremos con comida para hacer un picnic viendo esos hermosos paisajes que hay desde lo alto de la montaña, y pronto les comentaré mi gente.
This hike is undoubtedly a load of pure oxygen. We took pictures, had a great time and next time we will go up with food for a picnic seeing those beautiful landscapes from the top of the mountain, and soon I will tell you about it my people.
