The grey-headed warbler is a small bird and mostly found in subtropical or tropical forests. They are found in Margalla Hills, Islamabad. Because of habitat loss, they are also found in urban areas. This is a very beautiful bird and also very fast-moving. They travel into thick bushes and hop on tree branches.

As they are very small so they are an easy target for raptors. That is why they travel in the company of other birds like white-eyes. In urban areas of Islamabad, they are found in gardens on the fruits tree. Mostly they are active in the early morning.

During my every birding tour, I see this bird. Being fast-moving birds, they are difficult to photograph. One day, I saw a Grey-headed Warbler which was not moving so I came close and clicked some shots. When I looked closely, I realized that his one eye was damaged.

I have photographed this bird many times in different places but the best place is the trail 5 track. Where these birds come to drink water and also take a bath. I was totally camouflaged so they hardly felt my presence.
