Ideales para las personas que no pueden comer muchas grasas o comidas grasosas. Es una cena muy rica y las prepare con salchichas y queso. Las empanadas son muy comidas en Venezuela y la podemos preparar con lo que sea como: jamón y quedo, pollo, carne, granos, etc. Sin mas preámbulos vamos con la receta !Empecemos¡
Hello #hiver friends, I hope you are well. Today I will bring you one of my favorite dinners and they are the Venezuelan empanadas but instead of fried they will be grilled. Ideal for people who can't eat a lot of fats or fatty foods. It is a very tasty dinner and I prepare them with sausage and cheese. Empanadas are very popular in Venezuela and we can prepare them with anything such as: ham, chicken, meat, grains, etc. Without further ado, let's get started with the recipe!
MATERIALES/ MATERIALS
- Harina de maíz/ Corn flour
- Salchichas/ Sausages
- Queso/ Cheese
- Sal/ Salt
- Agua/ water
PROCEDIMIENTO/ PROCEDURE
Para empezar, en un bol iremos colocando una taza y media de harina de maíz, la sal y azúcar.
Agregamos un poco de agua e iremos amasando (si la sienten un poco dura pueden agregarle agua) hasta que quede una masa blanda.
To start, in a bowl we will put a cup and a half of corn flour, salt and sugar.

Ya la masa lista, para poner la masa yo coloco un pedazo de bolsa plástica para hacer las empanadas mas fáciles. Agarramos un poco de masa y haremos un circulo colocandolo en el pedazo de bolsa de plástico, con las manos aplastaremos hasta hacer un circulo.
En el centro agregamos las salchichas y queso a su gusto.
Now the dough is ready, to put the dough I place a piece of plastic bag to make the empanadas easier. We take some dough and make a circle placing it on the piece of plastic bag, with our hands we will flatten it to make a circle.

Luego doblamos la empanada para que queden como un taco. Con una tapa pequeña la aplastamos casi llegando a la orilla y quitaremos los bordes restantes.
Then we fold the empanada so that they are like a taco. With a small lid we flatten it almost reaching the edge and remove the remaining edges.
Iremos haciendo varias y ir colocandolos en un salten sin aceite. Sacaremos cuando estén doradas y la masa dura.
