It happened to me absolutely unexpectedly - after three fantastic days in Tallinn I started feeling tickling in the throat, then a slight cough. The test for covid was positive, but I myself felt that I had been infected. I do not know if I can blame my GP that I stayed at home for 12 days in a very weak condition. She said it is nothing special. Luckily, I decided to call the ambulance and was immediately transported to hospital.
The top picture shows how I look now - in the intensive care department. They have been pumping oxygen inside this helmet so I can breathe. The terrible thing is that both my lungs are nearly totally affected by the virus which means that I can't breathe without oxygen support. With this help I feel better at the moment. The personal here is extremely helpful, they even managed to wear mey glasses inside the helmet, so I can read and write at the moment.
That is now. But before I went through the hospital admission department with a complete examination, including a huge number of blood tests and an X-ray taken in the same room.
The strange thing was the sheet of golden foil, which I was covered with instead of a blanket. Surprisingly, it was warm.
After checking, I was transported to the unit for basic treatment, but things went worse. So one more transportation to the unit with better oxygen support and finally the third transportation here, into the intensive care department. A horrible story for me. And the worst thing is that no medication exists against this monstrous disease. All the doctors just repeat that all depends only on me, my body, my soul. And I am doing my best to survive.
The treatment here is not just excellent, it is perfect. Catering is also unbelievable. To survive the patients must be fed properly and tasty to be able to eat in their poor conditions. While in the very first unite, I took some pictures of the meal. I can't take photos of food here, but it is the same, only served not so hommy way. I must say that during my 11-day stay here, the menu was not repeated.
Breakfasts. Porridge, different every time.
Lunches. All soups are cooked on chicken bouillon and are very tasty.
Dinner. Just one picture with pancakes stuffed with meat that time.
I am talking about the food here because I am sure it is extremely important to eat properly to be strong to survive...
I decided to write this post mainly to remind people how insidious, dangerous and unpredictable is this terrible infection that appeared so suddenly in our world. The worst thing is that today you may have an improvement in your condition, and tomorrow (or much earlier!) The virus may attack again.
Please, please, take it seriously. I wish good health to everybody!!!
I want to warn the others that covid is not a myth and MUST be taken seriously. Dear friends, please be very careful and protect yourselves and your families as well as possible.
I hope you recover soon . Thanks for sharing information
Thank you for your supportive words, dear @hadiawan. I really want people to be warned and understand that the danger is real.💞

Hang in there, you'll make it 💐
Luckily, I have started feeling a bit better today. Thank you for your supportive words, dear friend!
❤🌹🌷Sending You lots of Love ❤Prayers🙏 and Healing Vibes @olgavita for a complete and total recovery...!!
I am very grateful to you, dear @annephilbrick, your supportive words are very important for me. Thank you!💞
There are no words for how horrible this disease is. I'm so glad you were able to find the energy to post and that someone there was helpful enough to find a way that you could wear your glasses. Sending lost of love and bushels of hope.
Thank you, dear. I have been missing normal life here and very happy I started blogging again. I think you understand that I am enjoying moments when I do that. ❤
I do understand! We are such Hive addicts that not even horrible illnesses can keep us away from our friends!
💞🙏 💞
@olgavita, we are very sorry that you are sick and in the clinic, we hope that you will feel better soon, you are a brave woman and everything will turn out very well. A hug
I am extremely grateful for your support, dear @talentclub! Luckily, since yesterday, I know that it won't attack me again. Now - only time.
How awful wishing you a healthy and speedy recovery !!
Thank you dear @andrew-charles. I am doing my best 💞🙏
I do hope you are feeling better 🙏
I definitely DO, thank you dear friend!
Well that is good news you are a fighter 👍
Thanks for sharing your experience. Hope you recover soon. District officer called me this morning, I'm under home quarantine now, tomorrow for the swab test, and we'll see what happen after that.
On my poor experience, do not wait at home till long. Call the ambulance immediately if you feel any lack of breathing. God bless you and your family 🙏💞
Thank you. Will do so
This is so sad to see you take care and am wishing you a healthy recovery my friend 💖
I am very grateful dear @kohsamui99 for your words of support. Take care, please. And vaccination - it must help, I hope. 🙏💞
You are welcome @olgavita the vaccination needed but all still a bit worrying.
It definitely is frightening. We can just study the matter, their market and choose. What else?
I'm so sorry 😞 the world needs a change!!
If only we could... Thank you dear @howey1991 for your supportive words ❤
Yess! It is important to eat and, chicken soup and meat are the best for the proteins that you need. I wish you all the best and a fast recovery.
I am very lucky the treatment is just excellent here, really. I medical workers are heroes and doing their best to help us, their patients. Thank you for your supportive words, dear @desro 💞
Sending much love and hugs, wishing you quick recovery. ❤
This is not a joke and I am still surprised how many people do not take it seriously.
Thank you for your supportive words, dear @nelinoeva! I really wanted to warn people about the danger which is absolutely REAL 💞
Sorry to hear you're still hospitalized, Olga.
I'm happy it sounds as though you're being treated well and are in good hands. Hospital meals in the USA look nothing like what you're being served - yours look delicious! Eat up to regain your strength. Continue being a good patient & keep us updated when you can!
Hugs! @olgavita
Thank you dear @ninahaskin! Now, when the doctor said I survived, I am absolutely happy and even started blogging, as you see. 😁 How great that I have what to make my mind busy here, in hospital!
Dear @olgavita. I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I wish you speedy recovery (and can offer health coaching for free if you wish).
I have however downvoted this post (very slightly, not enough to affect the reward payout) due to (in my learned opinion) many factual discrepancies in your post). I can go into a little detail if you are genuinely interested and if you ask me to share.

Thank you for your reply but I do not understand what do you mean when you say "many factual discrepancies""? I am writing only about myself and only truth. I am still in hospital waiting for recovery. That was only two days ago when the doctor said I will live... so, sorry, I do not understand you.
Thank YOU for responding @olgavita. It appears you are open to hear more, so subject to your further open-ness in responding and researching (relative) truth, I will likely continue to reply with more detail. For now:
(even if there was such a virus - of which there is no proof) the above statement is factually incorrect (in my opinion). Chlorine Dioxide, when used in the correct manner is able to reverse the symptoms of the so called coronavirus.

"the above statement is factually incorrect (in my opinion)."
You can't claim a fact from an opinion. That's not how reality works.
I think that while you have the right to comment your disagreemnet on her post, the act of downvoting the post (no matter how little it would affect the payout) of the author who currently has a severe disease and is undergoing treatment would not have helped her situation right now. 🙁
Thanks for your input @savvyplayer. i have removed the downvote.
I wish you a speedy recovery. God Bless you for being strong in mind and spirit.
Thank you dear friend!💞 Please take care of yourself and your family
