So, charcoals are messy but strangely satisfying drawing tools.
And they fit perfectly with the character of the Moai- sculptures from Easter Island.
They perfectly capture the raw and primitive beauty of these ancient statues

One thing I love about charcoal is that it allows for easy application of darker tones.
