Good day, everyone. On Sunday, my friends and I often visit various exhibitions of folk crafts. This time we visited an exhibition of amazing sculptures and Souvenirs made of bronze, brass, copper and many other materials and alloys. I'll show you something today...
In such a difficult time, everyone should be patient and be able to cope with this new and dangerous disease. And to do this, we need to be distracted by artistic things and music. After all, when you are engaged in creativity, even the mood improves. For example, I like to go to exhibitions. Sometimes I draw... What are you into?
You will probably also be interested to know what polystone is. This is the first time I've heard of such material myself.
It turns out that polystone is considered a polymer stone, so its name is translated from the Dutch language.
The second name is akrilika, since acrylic is the basis of artificial stone. Some people used to call this material Polyresin. But if you see what they make of it, you will be surprised.
Ordinary people may not be able to distinguish between brass and bronze or copper. This is explained by the similarity in shades and colors of these three metals (alloys).
Bronze differs from brass in appearance in color: brass is yellow, and bronze in most cases is dark brown. In addition, bronze is characterized by coarse-grained, and brass-fine-grained. Another way to distinguish them is the weight of the product itself.
Although such a head would still not be raised, but of course it is always interesting to see.
These figures can also be made of plaster, and then they are painted with bronze or silver paint.
It is good that polystone is not afraid of blows with heavy objects. It is unlikely that these sculptures can be broken, I really did not try :-)
Such sculptures can be put in the garden, I think that the rain will not interfere with them.
Do you like this kind of creativity? Would you put similar figures in your apartment?
