and as for giving flowers on Vaelntines, I guess I am the equivalent of the Christmas Grouch when it comes ot valentines, I call it a hallMark/Hersheys/Teleflors holiday LOL
So I never give my wife anything on Valentines, but that said not a total grouch I will at random times through the year give her little gifts as a token of our love :)
