I usually don't take naps as I am usually active during the day due to the nature of my work. I rest when the majority of the world does, that is at night.
I love to take an afternoon nap and honestly, I don't like to complete my day without it. But with office work and Raag and household chores, I barely get a chance to take one. I used to sleep in the afternoon every day before I had Raag, wow, good old days!
-feeling a bit tired, less focused
-get coffee
-sit down to enjoy it
-brain thinks of something to get done
-take coffee with me and get it done
Naps only if I'm physically trashed, sometimes in the weekend after training. But prefer to wait for the night to have a good nights sleep like others mentioned. If I rest too much during the day I have trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep at night. How is your routine?

I don't have a routine, but I usually take brake when ever I think my system needs to relax and refresh with new ideal.
I do this by listening to music, cooking my favourite meal, by sleeping or by just taking a walk.
I never nap. I prefer to wait till I am tired and then sleep at night for a full eight hours. I think you get better quality rest that way.
