RE: My First 'Yearly Author'

Thanks!

From the perspective of quality, do you feel that the regularly daily writing has translated into better writing, or more thoughtful observations?

I can tell that regular writing makes me write better in the sense of less blockages, and maybe a better flow of ideas and words. Is the quality of posts better when writing daily compared to writing less often? It depends. Someone could prefer a less frequent rhythm to be able to tweak their posts until they are happy with the final form and to be able to write long/very long pieces.

I have set a daily goal to read and comment on at least ten-posts a day. My notion is that if it's done intentionally, and with some care - that creates something of a lattice across the network, reinforcing good intentions.

I agree. That daily engagement shows results in time, that compounds. Good intentions are very important, as someone who comments with the reason of "milking" upvotes eventually may get branded as spammer or something similar.
