I have been very slow at posting on this platform because I have started out fresh with no Hive Power and this is my first experience on the HIVE platform. This means every time I try to post or comment I get a notification that I either need to wait until my resource credits increase or I need to buy HIVE power.
So I sold a small amount of blurt on the HIVE engine in the hope of powering up hive. What I got was swap.hiv pegged. There did not seem to be an option in the wallet to power this up to Hiv. So I ended up just buying some POB and powering that up. While that let me have some very small votes it still did not solve the problem of the resource credits.
So now I have waited for my first post to cash out at 7 days and this has happened and it still does not provide any solution.
To me it looks like the only solution is to use ETH to buy Hive Power. But this is not a solution for me as the steps to getting ETH are not an option for me right now.
Is there something I am missing about selling on the HIVE Engine and getting HIV and powering up? Is there a post or explanation somewhere?

If you select the withdraw button (red circle) the withdraw tokens box will come up. It should come pre-filled with your Hive username. There is a small 1% fee. you can then power it up from your Hive wallet.
I have used BTC on Bittrex to buy Hive and then send it to my Hive account.

I just looked at your wallet and it looks like @hivecoffee delegated you 20 HP which should help with the resource credit problem.

When you post and earn rewards, they are paid out 50/50 as HivePower/HBD.
I just delegated 20 HP to your account, so you should be able to take more actions.
You can trade HBD for HIVE in you wallet, try https://peakd.com for full features.
Once you have 101 HP you will be able to start earning curation rewards for voting.
Stake your POB rewards also, the more POB you have staked, the more your vote is worth.

Thats definitely the way to go. Just withdraw the swap.hive you have and use that to power up. I'd recommend getting around 100 HP and you really won't have RC problems.
