With increased utility, comes increase in usefulness and value. When application becomes useful to our everyday living, the chances of its extinction becomes slim. So it's profitable for blockchain to keep increasing its utility. Glad to know that Hive, which I'm privileged to be one of its users are leading in this note.

However, Defi should be able to have login systems that separate blockchain from centralized companies like Facebook and Google.

This is worrisome. If our much mouthed freedom is to hold water, then a different login method must be procured.
