Once the SEC finds out about DPoS they are going to have a wet dream that night imagining all the new words they would get to invented to control this type of economy.

Lol just wait until Justin Sun joins blurt and starts supporting our legal claims.

We could mediate with JS and make a real DPoS working in lockstep with the authorities so big players can't manipulate the economy to their advantage.

The term equity is being perverted lately too, so in the bad case a libtard judge rules on Hive it will not work out well for them.

Sort:

I don't think Hive can do business without registering with the SEC. I thought they were required to know. Hive did register under them, unless I'm mistaken and that's definitely a possibility:

Thats Hive as in https://www.hiveblockchain.com/

They would also be responsible for engine tokens and what would happen would destroy hive's decentralized ecosystem especially things like the LEO CUB Finance stuff would be erased from history if they didn't conform to the standards and recommendations of the psychopaths that work there.

The reason the SEC has come up a lot lately around my name is because someone told me I am bluffing when I said the SEC would require Hive to register and required a discovery process for the large stake holders, or alternatively a mandatory KYC system for hive accounts.

Oh! Thank you for the clarification. The "Hive" name apparently goes around.

This Phil guy is clueless about regulations.

SEC is a governing body in the United States. Phil, for the record, is Canadian :)

Hive is not based in the United States :)

Hive is actually not based anywhere :)

Also me, you and phil and everyone are just a mere users of hive. Hive is decentralized, no one owns Hive. There is no CEO of Hive :)

He is sending FBI and CIA to my home and launching many SEC investigations for months now. Nobody has showed up to my doorstep or anybodies doorstop and never will :)

The funny thing about internet is anyone and write or claim anything, there is no verification required or really not much of a consequence. So people like Phil can get away with whatever misiformation they want.

Only thing we can do, is to make sure lies are not rewarded. That is all that we can do.

It's difficult to gauge someone's grasp sometimes. I appreciate the perspective. Ah, that's something else I didn't know about Hive governance. I was surprised in your writing that there was no CEO. I guess it's the Steemit past in me. I was a little worried that the same thing would occur with Hive that happened to Steemit.

I'm putting a lot more time on the platform now so it's good to know someone can't just up and takeover again.

Yeah they have a mining software, if you ever heard of simple mining it reminds me of that.
