I love snow. Being from Southern California it's not something you experience unless you head up into the mountains. So I'm always looking forward to winters in Tokyo because we get snow here. However, it usually comes in February once or twice and that's it. I'm usually in America for the Tucson Gem and Mineral show in February so I miss the snow. Yesterday though, when I woke up I opened the window and was surprised to see it snowing.
Actually this is unheard of, but it is pretty late in the season.
Thankfully the sakura trees were not blooming yet or it would have destroyed hanami(flower viewing).
By late afternoon the skies had totally cleared and all the snow was gone. It was a strange day, but I'm glad I got to see the snow before spring rolls in.

I bet! Snow is a bit different over in your neck of the woods. You guys get real snow. I think I'm ready for spring too. Cold, rain is miserable.
