I found out about cryptocurrencies in 2013 on Bitcointalk. That is also where I found out about Steemit when it first launched in 2016, which then forked into Hive.
I followed many channels on youtube discussing financial decentralization. It helped me understand a lot of diverse tools necessary to make the right call in the crypto space.
Happened to been introduced to the crypto space in the 2016 by a friend who introduced me to a platform then called zzarfund which uses Bitcoin. It was quite a popular one. It Happens to be some ponzi scheme. Little did I know as at the time as I just wanted was to rake in some digital currency. Lost most of my BTC then. The following year stumbled upon another platform called bitconnect. This was quite popular on steemit back then. Didn't lose that much there has I started earlier and somehow broke even before we all got rug pulled.
Lot of terrible experiences back then before I finally got to know about steemit early in 2018. Ever since then I have got involved in several other projects. But amongst all, hive happened to be my most favorite no matter what happened as I was on and off initially before finally getting to stick here as I believe this platform has something to do in the future. It's been a funny experience when I look back now but it's all been worth it.

I started as a forex trader but i later saw some youtube videos talking about bitcoin investments so that was how i got into cryptocurrencies..
I got to know about crypto through my uncle, he invest in it and do talk about it.
At first I do tell him that he is wasting his money, because some if the current get low, I will tell him as you see.
But later he enlighten more on it.
