Sounds like kheer (payasam pradaman) to me. I have been reading about this for years, but never really tried it.
Maybe I should one of these days.
Dalgona coffee is quite popular at home, something we adopted during the lock down.
I think I am totally addicted to it. Although I would give it up for freshly ground and brewed coffee any day.
I don't think I have heard of this payasam
I know the rice one and the vermicelli one - both I loveeeee
I am going to check out
.
.
Ok I checkEd - I feel like I have tried it before but it isn’t as popular here as the vermicelli one
Aaaah, dalgona
We also whipped, ok more like whisked it up a couple of times thanks to the lockdowns
But much ado about... 😅
This boba is made from tapioca- it’s quite the craze here and someone told me in the last 3 years there are over 100 different boba tea shops popped up.
Those are just names in different languages for similar sweet porridge.
Boba is similar to sabudana that we use in payasam or sweet porridge with vermicelli.
I love dalgona though.
I'm gonna to throw in some pearls the next time I make payasam
Thank you :D
