While vacationing in Florida we happened upon BARBERVILLE YARD ART EMPORIUM in the small town of Barberville, just outside of Ocala Florida. As we stopped at a red light we saw the sign you see in this 1st picture. What we noticed being displayed on the roadside was fascinating and we decided to pull a U-turn and see what this place was all about.
Choosing to turn around was the right decision. We spent several hours walking around this place with our jaws hanging open in amazement.
The artists that tooled the following pieces, made from either copper or aluminum, had to spend hundreds of hours creating these works of art.
Around every corner was another statue that was so real looking it was hard to fathom the skills that each piece must have required.
This replica of a Texas Longhorn Steer was one of my favorite pieces.
Every square inch of the emporium displayed creations that were hard to believe were hand-crafted.
Life is so amazing, as there are lovely adventures around every turn. Great that you guys acted on impulse to visit, and the sculptures are lovely. I favor the buffalo and those lists in the last picture.

Turning around was the right move. If the car wasn't packed to the gills there were a few items that we would have loved to have purchase.

Wow that is amazing. Love the photos of you two. I always wonder how much they sell at these places as there always seems to be so much there!!?
The place was packed to the gills. While we were there the place was very busy and the cash register was ringing up one sale after another. If you wanted one of the larger pieces of art, they had a schedule for delivering to your area, even here at the farm.
These kind of events are very special to go there and meet new people and the human experience is very good and as we can see in the pictures people are having a lot of fun.
This was the first time I had seen pieces of art like I saw there, absolutely stunning.

Stunning statues and figurines.
The detail was absolutely amazing. Some of the larger statues had price tags between $3,000 and $4,000. That's a pretty penny, but the cost was totally understandable.
I stopped at a place on my way to South Dakota that had huge figurines like the ones in FL. Artisans are so talented everywhere.
When you run across places like this you realize just how many talented people are out there.
