And here we are again, in the quiet forest right after the rain. Which is the best type of forest, if you ask me :)
The smell, the colours and the abundance of colorful leaves and mushrooms are always too irresistible for me not to go there.
And when you see all these large mushrooms wherever you look, it is just pure joy!
Traditionally I have no idea what they are. And it doesn't matter to me much, as I enjoy the shooting process and admire the diversity more. I could try to figure it out, but I know I will not feel confident enough to pick them anyway. I will save myself the time then :p
This part of the woods with tall pines was a nice spot to spot all the tall ones. There were not many low bushes or grasses around. So I just stood there and turned around and there they were... as far as I could see. White, orange, and red hats.
All tall and proud.
It would be so easy to follow one after another... like combining spots on a map and slowly getting lost in the woods (if the woods were big enough, that is).

The first fungi picture you said kinda looks like they're competing for who's the tallest of them all 😂😂
The battle is on :P

"What an extraordinary sight! Agree, the forest after the rain has its own charm with the growth of various kinds of mushrooms. Thank you for sharing this beauty. Hopefully one day I can also find a place like this!"
Thank you! I am sure you will.
The picture of mushrooms is quite beautiful and charming. I am very interested in seeing this..
Thanks :)
Wow, the hat mushroom is very beautiful and what really caught my attention was the orange hat mushroom, which was really stunning.
Thank you!
It's really beautiful that the mushrooms in your area are different from the mushrooms in our area, in Asia. I really like the mushrooms you found, friend @ewkaw
Yea... they are different. And it is so cool that they are.
How are you dear friend @ewkaw good afternoon
It is undoubtedly a great joy when you go to the forest and find a large number of beautiful mushrooms. This is music to my ears.
What a great find, thank you very much for letting us know these beautiful shots.
Have a happy start to the weekend
Thank you! It was great indeed.
Nice fungi! A quiet forest must have been so peaceful! 😁
Thanks! It is a great forest full of old trees. I love it :)
That's awesome.
I do love to go out hiking in the forest too.
Hello @ewkaw
What a beautiful species of mushrooms, and what beautiful photographs you take.
Beautiful colony of mushrooms, leaves the meadow very beautiful, what a thrill to see so many quantities
Thank you :)
Wonderful Shots 💞
Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Congratulations, you received an ecency upvote through the curator @sahi1. Keep spreading love through ecency
Thanks!
Interesting how many of those look very similar to the ones we find in our forests here (Northwest USA), although it would seem your season is a little ahead of ours... they are just startingto pop up here.
Very nice photos, though!
=^..^=
I shot those in the fall... I hardly ever manage to find mushrooms in spring.
Thank you :)
Wow... you hit the mushroom jackpot this time.
Those first ones look like they have some sort of tasty glaze pooled in their tops.
The next one nearly looks like it is made of porcelain.
The third from last is really awesome and looks like it is an illustration for some forest fairy story.
It was after the rain... they were all so pretty and shiny :)
I love fresh mushrooms but couldn’t tell which would be save for eating. There should be a small kit to test mushrooms so we could pick edible ones!
That's why it takes some time and knowledge to pick the right ones. Better not pick if not sure.
Beautiful, you are wise to just enjoy the sight as they look like Russulas . They can cause severe sicknes if not cooked properly. ☺️
Thank you! Yea they look like them, but since don't usually pick them, I just shoot :)
You're welcome 😊
You've been curated by @amazingdrinks! Delegations welcome!
Thank you!
Your photographs are very beautiful. I have no words to describe its beauty. The art of these photographs is to preserve and capture the surrounding scene of the place you have photographed. @ewkaw
Thanks a lot :)
