RE: Lichen Perfumery: Capturing Nature's Essence

in FungiFriday10 months ago

Hello dear friend @theworldaroundme good morning
I loved your post. I didn't know that lichens could make perfume, to be honest, I have never felt if it has any particular aroma, another interesting fact, that they may be the oldest living beings on the planet.
Thank you very much for all this information
Have a wonderful day

Hello, sir. They do have a mild aroma that is well-regarded in perfumery. It is just a very subtle scent that you won't smell immediately, but it lingers once everything else has evaporated. That's the reason why they use it as a base note. I can imagine you'll be sniffing them now. Haha. Have a lovely day Sir. 😊

In a while I'm going to the forest, and I'm going to take advantage of it to smell its aroma.
Thank you so much for this information. Have a wonderful weekend

You're welcome Sir, enjoy. 😊 and thank you too!
