There are some conifer forests in the mountains, and there can be found some mushrooms in the autumn and winter (I found recently a bunch of small ones) but here, by the seashore, it is not happening a lot of times.

I just checked my mushroom app and it says that morels can sometimes be found growing in woodchip mulch used in flower beds. So my joke wasn’t really baseless. I think I remember reading a post on fb allotment groups that someone found morels around their flowers on allotment 😍
Maybe you should buy one morel and spread the spores around your garden 😁
