Any fungus will grow in a wet and rotten place, that is the nature of fungus. When I found Lycoperdon umbrinum or puffball fungus, it grew on rotten coconuts that were wet. Coconut skins that had been left for years rotted, the rainy season came and watered the coconut skin, then puffball fungus appeared on the wet coconut skin.
Lycoperdon umbrinum is round, speckled, if we look closely the spots look rough showing its distinctive beauty. Some people think that this fungus can be consumed. I took some shots of this fungus during the day, so I had to be careful to adjust the ISO, SPEED so that the lighting was not excessive.
This is my submission for #FungiFriday, which is hosted and curated by @ewkaw
