I'm guilty of putting a splash of cream in my (not exaggerating) 4-6 shots of espresso... but that is only for my stomach. I don't eat until 4pm most days, so if I just dump pure espresso down the ole gullet all morning, I'll get a massive stomachache lol
Sometimes I do it anyhow though, compromise can hurt worse than a tummy ache when it comes to our principals in my experience haha! On the booze front, 100% with you! What is your favorite type of wine? I'm an Amarone or Tempranillo gal myself, although I do enjoy a Bordeaux or any red blend thoroughly too heheh

Down with both Amarone and Tempranillo. All Spanish wines, tbh. I could say all reds, to be honest, but that's called modesty. Or flying under the alcoholics radar. One of those. honestly, anything red and dry works for me. I'm not picky and I can't stand pretentiousness. When someone's like "Oh I only drink '85 Shiraz from the blah-blah region", I know it's time to grab the bottle and get the fuck out.
Meh, fuck 'em. If they get ticked off by this sort of thing, then we probably wouldn't have gotten along too well anyway. Nor if they get ticked off, tbh. I want someone who flies into a full-blown psychotic rage, not ticked off. No compromise. See above :P

This made me laugh so hard, YUP!!! I worked in fine dining for years and it was always the people who spoke in that manner who were the most annoying. AND they usually did not know anything about wine. They are notorious for asserting their superior preference right before saying something absurd like "All fine French wines are sweet!" OOF.
Full blown psychotic rage is so much easier to respect than whining/ complaining for me too. No passion/ soul to it= I has no ears π
