Yes, the process is half of the fun, exactly so in my case.
Grinding does affect the flavour, in two ways - fresh grind benefits to it a lot, and 2ndly, different grade of the grind suits better for different ways of brewing coffee, like, for jezzwa fine grinding is better (but it should not be a powder).
