I love the rain, but I'm just extra tired today for some reason. And this weather for now is a blessing, since Ramadan is just a few hours away. Fasting under the hellish heat is a tough one.
I think men can be moodier than women, but I think there are different contributing factors to that.
Yes mam, I'd say in order to push a man's buttons you'd have to poke him with matters and situations that usually don't have an effect on women.
Even though it's late, maybe a cuppa would pick you up.
... Go on! You know you want to
Already on it, I've been thinking about it all evening haha. 😂
Yes, the colder weather during Ramadan will be a bonus.
I'm tired today too but it's because I haven't slept well the last 2 nights.
I see!😁
Get some rest!
It's kind of the same story for me.
No, no, no, not now, I'll stay awake till 3AM, that's our Sehri timing over here. Our Ramadan journey starts from here.
And if I go to bed now then no one will be able to wake me up during Sehri hours. 😂
Ah, I see! I admire the discipline. My best friend is Muslim, but I haven't seen her in a long time.
I'm a night owl and quite love staying up till 3 AM, but I'm recovering from the flu/covid/or some virus that I'm not sure what it is, so I don't want any setbacks. It's been horrible enough.
Why is that? Are you both in different cities or countries? Is it the distance?
Usually for me it's the distance, my closest friends are spread all over the world. We see each other every 4 to 5 years or so. Everyone's just so busy with their lives, it's a pivotal stage for most of us.
During the Covid years I've gotten used to staying up late, it's easy these days, even though I really don't like staying up late.
Get as much rest as possible, and try to have some warm soup everyday. Soup always helps me, I don't know why, I don't know how, but spicy hot soup can work wonders.
It's because we are in different cities that I haven't seen my friend. I saw her a month ago though.
Yes, the soup works wonders. I got sick in Egypt a few days before returning to the UK, and I had onion soup both evenings and was good enough to fly. When I got back to the UK I contracted something else, and yes, I love soup for ailments like these.
If you don't mind me asking, where exactly are you based? and is it mainly Indian cuisine that you have?
Ahh, at least you're still close by. My friends are all scattered.
I'm in Dhaka, Bangladesh, just beside India. The cuisine around these neighboring parts are quite the same, everyone just adds their own unique twists and has a different name for every dish haha.
Ok, cool! I haven't been to India or any part of that side of the world yet. I only made it to SE Asia. One day I'm sure I'll get there. Maybe India before Bangladesh.
Hive is so cool man! Here I am interacting with people from all over the globe 😊
I'm hoping to see my friend soon:)
