The beauty of nature - Flowers, Orchids in the Alps

in PhotoFeed4 years ago

Last year in Summer i did a hiking trip at the Grossglockner in Austria together with Stefan, and we stayed in Mittersill for a week as well as on the "Wallackhaus" for several days to explore the beauty of the Austrian mountain. We were pretty successful and were able to take several nice pictures of bird, animals, flowers and wonderful landscapes. I already showed you several of these pictures, and probably already some picture of these Orchids but since they are really beautiful and seldom flowers I want to give them a second chance here in this article on Hive.

We were lucky to find some Lilium martagon, the martagon lily or Turk's cap lily, or "Türkenbundlilie" as it is called in Austria. It is a Lily that is on the red list in Germany and protect, so you are not allowed to pick the off or take them with you. In Austria, it is protected too but not in every federal state. It would be very sad if someone picks it and takes it with him/her anyway. But unfortunately some people don't know about protected plants and take flower with them, without knowing that they "commit a crime". I think it is always very sad when people ruin the nature, but it happens more and more because a lot of people don't care or don't know.

The next problem I think exist is that there are only a few places where no human is wandering around, even in the mountains like the alps there exist only few places for animals to hide because with all these new "hobbies" people have, they often climb places that where previous not or only very seldom visited by humans.
