How we see each other

in PhotoFeed24 days ago

In the past few days, I was going through my photography portfolio to select some images for a project I decided to submit to a photography contest. The focus of the contest is to showcase women photographed by women, to explore this "female gaze" and how we see each other, how we like to express ourselves and, above all, how we wish to be portrayed.

It’s a contest with a progressive leaning, as the publication has shown in recent years, so I tried to choose photos from my work that I feel align with this theme. In this search, I came across these portraits I took in 2018 with two friends and decided to share them here as well. I think I have so many photos in my archives that I end up forgetting they exist, and I really enjoy this feeling of revisiting them after a while. I know I will always like my images more in the future than at the exact moment I created them.

I hope you enjoy them, and soon I'll be back with a second part of the photos I found from this shoot.
