RE: Some Restrictions Needed In Gambling

in Hive Learners17 hours ago

I did not say that the government should control our all expenses.
These suggestions are only for online gambling Apps.
I mean to say that the gambling applications can have a particular credit limit where you cannot spend more than a limit, and the government can give such instructions to those gambling apps and should properly check about it.
As far as the bank account is concerned, I don't know at how many places people make payments from their bank accounts these days and do you feel that your account information is safe?
Why do only those people who have more money in their accounts and does more transactions get calls from credit card companies or credit departments?
These are all third party companies, so how do they get someone's account information?
This is just for limitation so that no person can spend more than his limit. Because it is often seen that people start spending money indiscriminately on gambling when they start losing or winning.
According to me, just knowing the bank balance is not an issue.

you didn't directly say but what you said was implying it bud.

I still find this pointless bro. people can create multiple accounts and use other peoples id if kyc is needed. Also something similar to gambling is rolling gatches on games. If someone is addicted to video games and spends money on gatchas and rerolling for legendary skins are we going to limit them when it's their money. Maybe people seek joy and adrenaline from gambling. They pay for that euphoric feeling of winning a lot or losing a lot. I don't think setting a credit limit is a good idea if it was it would've already been done years ago

Yes. They are legally regulated to protect our data bro.

Why do only those people who have more money in their accounts and does more transactions get calls from credit card companies or credit departments?

Obviously to check for fraud if activity seems suspicious.

You have to go to the root of the problem bro. None of your solutions are the root of the problem. Why do people need to gamble?? Why are poor people gambling more they can afford?. If they weren't poor would they still gamble?

There's better ways to tackle this issue. One is education and two is to make sure people have more money so they don't feel like they need to "get rich quick". Education will naturally help people make more $$ and wiser decisions
